Lunch at @sixbrighton was the perfect way to start this fantastically beautiful weekend ☀️ Unbelievably, it was my first visit to Six. I loved the menu with lots of yummy breakfast, brunch, salads and small plates, it’s got plenty to offer. The flavours and presentation were great and the service was very good too. I had avocado Benedict with extra halloumi and my friend had the salmon version. Both served on lovely brioche bread. Visit @thefarmtavern and you will get all the little touches that really make it memorable. Firstly, they brought the full selection of sauces! The service was outstanding 🤩 The peanut butter and chocolate tart was super indulgent! The roast was very nice, my only niggle would be the cauliflower cheese was a bit hard and not as cheesy as we’d like! Thoroughly enjoyable day @leonardsleegardens for my Grandma’s birthday 🎂🌲🌳🌿🌺 We had a fantastic afternoon tea at the Clocktower cafe ☕️🍰 Sandwiches, homemade scone with jam and cream, and TWO slices of cake for £11 🤩 Such a good deal and all of it was very high quality. As well as the food, it’s a beautiful peaceful place to have a wander around and see some wallabies. I’ve found my new favourite takeaway in Hove @zama_hove have some fantastic curries and interesting starters. It’s very reasonable too, vegetable curries start at £6! I tried ‘Auntie Ji’s vegetable curry” (£6) and it was delicious! Although I do eat meat and fish, they have a lot of great vegetarian and vegan options. 🍣🥟🍱 I tried @moshimobrighton for the first time last week. The selection on offer is fantastic: sushi, salads, noodles, dumplings.... We went on Vegan Wednesday so because my friends had membership cards, we got 50% off plant based dishes.
